QA Team Lead

About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader with Tech Lead capabilities to join our QA group, overseeing a team of 3 QA engineers.

As the Team Leader, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality of our projects, planning the team's workflow, keeping an eye on progress, conducting performance evaluations, and providing guidance and training to foster continuous improvement within the team. You will also be responsible for providing technical leadership to the team. This includes staying up-to-date with what is developed in the Infrastructure initiative and assisting the team with their Automation tasks.

Responsibilities:

What you’ll do:

  • Lead 3 QA engineers across 2 initiatives from both management and technical point of view.
  • Collaborating with all teams within the business unit: Development, Product, Professional Services, DevOps, etc.
  • Aligning testing strategies with product timelines and goals.

·      Define and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy for complex services.

  • Monitoring and optimizing quality processes, such as QA refinement, test planning, test case design.
  • Mentoring, guiding, training, and providing support to QA engineers who are part of our organic development teams, including performing 1-on-1s. Risk management, planning and prioritization.
  • Become a knowledge center for your team and their domain.
  • Responsible for providing feedback on roadmap changes and PRDs.


Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years of experience managing Manual/Automation QA team.
  • Proven experience in Manual and Automation Testing of MicroServices based SW (using Docker, Kubernetes).
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Java – Advantage.
  • Experience in developing Automation tools – Postman, Cucumber, Selenium, Playwright, JMeter.
  • Experience working with DevOps team by using the following tools (or similar): Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines), AWS, Git.
  • Proven expertise in testing client/server and web-based applications.
  • Proficiency in writing comprehensive testing documentation.
  • Thorough familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle within an Agile environment.
  • Academic degree in Computer science or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic multi-task environment.
